Mission Statement
The primary purpose for which this corporation was formed is:
To encourage and assist in the development of skills in, and appreciation for, the performing

Arts and to contribute to the community's culture through theatrical experiences.
This Mission includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Promoting education and involvement in the performing arts;
Providing area residents with opportunities for participation in, and appreciation for, the theatre arts;
Encouraging training and education for both young people and adults in the performing arts;
Encouraging cultural diversity and, where possible, to foster appreciation for serious drama
As well as new and original drama by local and other writers.

Birdcage Theatre Inc. is a 100% volunteer organization and is a recognized non-profit educational organization pursuant to the provisions of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal ID # 68-0170476).

Maintaining a 100% volunteer status, Birdcage is true community theatre that houses the platform for the performing arts and offers opportunity for the artist that lives in so many of us to come forth.

Broadway classics to local playwrights produce rich and energetic content.
